The other #apple #trees all #grownfromseed are putting on #newgrowth Im very proud that so far i have not bought 1 fruit tree but all of them were #grownfromscraps that would normally just be tossed in the trash. #wastenotwantnot I say. Even if ya never get fruit in your life time its #foodforfutureuse none the less. Tho i might have to crack down and save for some i cant seem to grow lmao
#grownfromseed #appletree 1 of 2 is in its new permanent home hope it likes it there and gives me shade soon lol #recycled-fridge as a #container works wonders when you cant plant #trees #fruittrees in the ground where you live. Plenty of #root room to spread . Ill be planting #flowers all around the #tree i can look out my bedroom window and see it. #futurefood
Im not growing it like a normal or tree farms do it. My other one is that way well close . But this one Im letting this one be all natural how it would grow wild but will be trimming it up some when it gets older. Its not old enough to trim prune yet. Its the youngest of both my apple trees not even 3 yrs old. @lesliecole49
We topped nothing like what is described. Ours was done to define the trunk and create branching, much like a plant or shrub. The new branches won't come up weak. It may be that that practice is in question, but these were fruit trees for orchard production...
