#luckybamboo isnt really a #bamboo #Dracaena-sanderiana is not a true aquatic plant, and in the wild it is found in #marshes , #bogs , and areas that regularly flood. They may adapt to underwater survival for a time, but kept totally submersed long-term, they will eventually need replacing. As such, these decorative plants are best maintained in open-topped aquaria or paludariums where they can grow partially submerged, or just above the water line where the roots will trail down and take up👇

nutrients from the water. #propagated from #cuttings . Im going grow 2 extra pieces in the #bog area of my #pond this area gets #afternoonshade so it should work. Its a #test and it might not work. But doesnt hurt to try. I grow multiple ones in soil indoors and they are #thriving

Started the broken pieces in an old glass about a month ago to see if i could get #newgrowth and I have. The top left even has a second nub ready to grow another one. Gooooo meee... When these get a tad bigger will be #planting in #soil in a #container this method works for me and the #bamboo gets nice and dark green. Less issues as well in my personal experiance with this plant.

Make sure you have a plastic liner if you get a ceramic pot. Orchids will die in ceramic pots @cyndi
