Rub the plant down with rubbing alcohol and neem oil as well .. @jyotu here's a link that will help you. https://www.planetnatural.com/pest-problem-solver/houseplant-pests/scale-control/

A #female #swallowtailbutterfly was laying #eggs on my #citrus Im #thrilled to have gotten these pics. Usualy the first #butterflies of the season shy away at first. She actually got close to me but wouldn't be still long enough to get a great closeup lol . #wildlife

So wonderful to live where you have a longer growing season. I live in Pa where summers are to short, and winter is to long. Just got seeds to grow milkweed to help feed the caterpillars this summer. Look forward to seeing pictures of your cats and butterflies Your welcome! 🦋 😍😊

Well you have a lot of faith but you know about them so it’s nice you have a host plant. I would be to paranoid they’d like something else lol😊💕

2w
comment
cyndi

Lol Terri @terrimclaughlin yes a lot of faith plus i have multiple citrus trees and this happened last year as well. And the trees are still growing. They dont eat enough to kill them. So its safe. And its the plant that this type of caterpillar loves. Wont kill plants like some bad caterpillar. Xo

I certainly would be too, Cyndi! I wish I had more critters visiting my tiny patch of green but I’m too way up in the sky so I suppose they figured it’s too much work for too little, hahah...
