My house indoors hates #ferns and ivy it seems i just dont get it. After its fall it just kept dying so i cut off all the bad put it outside and waaalaaa its coming back beautiful again. Thank goodness. Its probably cus my trailer us ancient(1968) so it cant cope with the old nasty chemicals from back then trailers were made with cus i know i have issues myself... Btw dont say well move... I cant its only place i can afford.. Lol.. #maidenhairfern
I do grow them have 6 or 7 dif ones of Sansevieria plants and ferns wont at all live in my home i have tried for many many years and i have the complete nasa indoor air cleaning list thanks tho @lydiastirling
Your welcome. It could be that it's just to dry for them. I have the opposite problem my house is cool and damp in all rooms except my bedroom. Which is still a bit on the cool side. It means I have to put the heating in for more of the year than I would like.
Its the trailer itself. I use a humidifier for plants that need it. These trailers were made with bad materials that are toxic and Im very surprised that they are still allowed to be used. @lydiastirling it stays humid in my place in summer. I was told by an inspector that these homes (trailers) should be illegal to live in. But sadly they are not. Cheapest place i can live tho. If i lived anywhere else i would already be homeless rent is expensive even for 1 bedrooms on my budget(disability)
Its appaling that it's that way. It seems to be that way everywhere. Rents are expensive everywhere unless you are lucky enough to get social housing and in some places even that can be expensive. I hope things get better for you it's hard enough when you are disabled without having extra problems thrown at you like bad housing. It's always those with least money and the most vulnerable people that end up with the worse housing that only makes.things worse.
This was the clump of #roots with growth hanging over the containers edge(previous pic) so potted it up and put into bathroom window area. Fingerscrossed it thrives such a beautiful #fern its been 3 days since ive done this so so far so good.
Checking on my #maidenhairfern to make sure its still doing ok in its living conditions and it def is and theres #newgrowth as well. Also saw some "roots" of it handing over the edge of container so very carefully pulled them out and put into new pot. Next pic.....
