Good morning or evening all. Checked out all of our snowberries yesterday. Very few berries to be seen on them. We have the native variety here. #berries #native

You getting wind from the coast? SW winds? Nothing come down the gorge today. Much easier to stay warm 🔥💫💦

Apparently we have a weather system that won't move off the coast, wind ,rain and ugly!💘😍

This is an eye catching plant at the moment 👌 I sowed some seeds recently from one growing in my mother's garden. The strange thing was that each berry only had 2 seeds. Fortunately, it has loads of berries on it!

I love these for naturalization and their wintery thicket Jeff. I hope you get good results with seeds from your mom's garden. Our variety seems to have smaller berries than the ones in UK. 🍇 @jeatacake

Thanks Laura. I also saw some pink ones too recently whilst out & about. A few berries, plus seeds just do happened to find their way home with me! 😁 Now potted up outside for stratification, with the white ones 👍

They were in another town (Runcorn) which is about 10 to 15 miles from where I am. There is a good chance I will be there again in the coming few months, so if the berries are still there & there were many, I'll grab a few more 😉

I'd like that. Not any rush. I've got enough to keep me busy for years 😂😜👋 @jeatacake

The snow berries are thick and there are many more than last year. No idea how many. 80 + maybe ? Many around the base of most of the trees. #snowberry #topwoods #native #oregonnative

In some gardens I go to I have to dig it out as it is taking over 😕

I can see that happening. Ours seems to keep itself in check, going up and down in number. Hardly any last year. Will be interesting to see how they do next year. I love having this app for these notes @carolgs

It took over in my old front garden Laura and Carol @carolgs suckers everywhere! I was forever digging it out! It's a shame as it's pretty 💚

Its a nice kind of 'poof' 😜 at the base of the big trees. Very naturalizing for big spaces, but I don't want it in my garden areas! @rachelbrooks @carolgs

I have it all over the bottom of my garden, but I'm a sucker for the white berries 👍🏼

I guess if you have the space and it's not encroaching on your garden, it's pretty and fills otherwise dead ground 👍🏼

Help me identify this plant.. It grows at the base of fir and cedar trees.
