Thank you Dee. I haven't contacted your friend regarding this. I was hoping that some one in my local garden club would have some, but no. I have several now 😃 I just enjoy them. Nice to catch you here @ladeebug

I saw them mentioned very briefly in an article. Only learned not to eat them. But might not be poisonous if cooked. Lol! I can't find that article anywhere @ladeebug

I'm prodding for my local garden people to help me with it. I could post it on my towns FB page. There's an idea. Lightbulb moment Dee. I'll bet there are lots around me... 🐞💚💛💚 To be continued at a later date @ladeebug

This is my one and only yellow berryied elder growing at the bottom of this old growth stump. If you have information on the yellow elder please let me know. I can only find a mention of yellow under the name of the red. I've turned into an information junkie when it comes to plants, 📚🧐😉 #poisonous to humans 😵 #donoteatthem but they are #beautiful #yellow #berries #birdfood #foodforbirds #shade #treela #shrubla #native #pnw #june #summer #elderberry #elder

Oh how wonderful ‼️ I know you will enjoy that . I would too I love natives and am trying to learn as much as I can about them . I have lots of visitors to the gardens that ask me questions when they see me working in the native beds . I know that many native plants have healing qualities in them .
