Growing in mostly #shade. After going to the iris farm last year and seeing how well theirs do, I moved 3 of our roses to shady spots. I wasn't aware they would like it but they are all blooming and growing. They get some dappled sun #rose #hybrid-tea-rose #perennialla

I love roses. This is a beauty. I don’t have any at this point. But I will keep the shady areas in mind when I do buy some.

It’s lovely Laura....it’s actually a good spot for them it keeps their feet from drying out too fast...🌹

Simply beautiful!💘😍

Rena, note Elaine's comment ⬆️. I never even thought of that. I learn something every day. 🤷 Thank you Elaine 😘 @renae @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

Discovered the rose I posted today has yellow at the center. #romantica #rose

Hi Bella. I found our rose has a yellow belly! Lol! @bellabells

That is gorgeous @columbiariver ☺️💕

I come from Lincolnshire and we are known as yellow belly's Laura, not because we are all cowards I hasten to add, it's an old army regimental name 😊😊

Is that right? Oh I love these bits of history I learn here. I am certain there is no cowardess in Lincolnshire! @pelly

😂😂 no more than anywhere else I would imagine Laura.

Very pretty!💘😍

@columbiariver Hi Laura, it it Hybrid Tea, thinking of you variety? I have just planted bare roots and so looking forward for it to bloom. Hope it turns out like yours. So lovely 🌹💕

Just beautiful 🌹

Anxious for next year! Another surprise blooming plant! Love it when I don't know for sure what it will look like @ShelleySnyder @rachelbrooks

I've planted several bare root roses 2 years or so ago. The ones in pots have done the best. Convinced me to pot them the first couple of years before putting them in the ground. You probably don't need my story, you've got it very together. Good luck lovely! @bellabells

@columbiariver I will also probably try to pot my next bare root so I can compare what it best for them.. it’s surely worth a try. Thanks for the info @columbiariver 💕

👍👍😉💘😍
So beautiful 💕 love that the bud is a different colour to the open rose 🧡
It’s beautiful! I would have thought it was going to be a peachy colour but it’s a lovely pink instead!
Beautiful!
It surprises me with it's color. Looks like it should have deep orange tones. It is not quite as pink as the picture shows, a little more peach. Thanks all @kez001uk @gjones @Susanandsteve
