#ranuculus there was a lot of colorful new annuals calling my name at Fred Meyer yesterday. A few made it home.

Beautiful 😊

Jason, I haven't tried starting bulbs with these. I wonder why they're waiting to mature for you? These reminded me of a season years gone by. @jasonsparkes1

Gorgeous Laura 👍 Well done. A few is always good 😊

Thank you Maria and Janice. Sue, a few here and a few there. I need fillers everywhere. @lovestogarden @elsie @susanhumphrey333

'Persian buttercups' very under-rated in my opinion

I hadn't heard that Brittany. The name sure does fit. Lovely. @bpetty55

#ranuculus

I hope you do too. We must have good taste Jason. This color was very picked over. @Jasonsparkes1

I love the antique look of these flowers, if that's the right word 🤔 Hellebores do the same for me Laura 😊

It's what I like about them too Sue. They have that look. I know what you mean. I could use a flat of this one. I have lots of seeds coming around tho. That might save me from buying anymore greenhouse annuals now. @susanhumphrey333

It can save money growing from seed. I just hope I'm successful at it. I've been tending some sweet peas since October and they are ok but not as bushy as I'd hoped. I went to the garden centre yesterday and they had really healthy pots of six sweetpeas for £1.50 and I started to wonder if it's all worth it 🤔 @columbiariver

That's so true! I'm doing some sweet peas too, but I've lost more than I was successful with. I enjoy sowing seeds for what I might not find at the GC. I just started more poppies cuz first batch died. They're the confetti looking black ones. Other stuff too. It's just fun. Enjoy it all Sue! @susanhumphrey333

That's beautiful! 👌🏼🌸💕 almost rose like. I love it Laura

I think so too Rachel. A soft colored, romantic rose. @rachelbrooks

That's a great idea Laura 👍the poppies sound lovely. I've not seen those. I do enjoy it but I was tempted to buy the plants as a back up 😊

Love the vintage vibe of this one 💕💕

Sue...I know exactly how you feel...my Osteospermum seedlings are failing miserably! Have a few of the new lot of sweetpeas coming through so I hope they fare better. But I did think the other day maybe I'm not cut out for growing things from seed! 😬 @susanhumphrey333
#ranuculus was one of the first annuals I fell in love with. Close to 1980 maybe? So many layers of petals💖
Thank you scary. You were still reading comics and I was a young mom. @scaryskates
Going to be lovely! My mom always liked these but I haven't gotten any yet
Gorgeous 💗
