I've had Indian Plum for decades. It's a thicket forming plant that has beautiful white flowers, but I needed another plant to make the actual plums (male/female) Well I found one after years of quizzing the #north-american-native plant people I know and reading all I could. I randomly found one at my regular gc! #perennialla #indianplum

It's snowing at my house. I took this pic Monday and noticed how similar the blossom of #indianplum is to the service berry pics I've seen. Its early for these. They are a beautiful thicket that is hard to photograph #thicket #native-oregon #topwoods 3.13.20

It really is a beautiful and graceful looking plant. I'm sure you'd be happy with it. Very naturalizing too. @Davidward

Does it fruit Laura? @columbiariver

Yes, it does, but mine has not. I've read somewhere that they require a male and a female plant. But all other articles don't mention this. I am going to ask a woman who deals in natives once she opens up her garden center in April. I'd love to have fruit from it. I've never had as many blooms as this year. We'll see! @davidward
