I've had 4 cuttings off my 5 chamomile plants this summer. They're sputtering to a stop now. To be mixed with raspberry leaf and pineapple mint for my daughter Emily and I. #chamomile #tea #tincture

@columbiariver Is there a difference between German and usual Chamomile? 🤔😊🙏🏼👍🏼

I grow it for tea or tincture. My girls and I love it. We mix in mint or raspberry leaves. Delicious. "Chamomile tea has a subtle herbal taste and is famously used as a sleep aid and to calm upset stomachs. Two types of chamomile are commonly planted in herb gardens: German chamomile (Matricaria recutita), a robust annual that grows to about 2 feet tall and Roman chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile), a petite perennial." @gjones @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom @pixierose @momasherri

Isn’t it the Roman chamomile you can find growing wild in western Oregon

Is it?. I wonder what the dietary difference is. @momasherri

Finally looked it up, our wild chamomile is called pineapple weed and yes it does have many of the same characteristics as the others. The said it can grow up to 24 inches but I haven’t seen it that tall
