Mammillaria spinosissima subsp. pilcayensis

I bought this months ago and it's a favorite with it's colored spines. #cactusla Anyone know an ID or have one like it. It leans a lot. Fun to watch

Looks a lot like our bristle brush cactus.

Yes, I think that it leans towards the light but I’ve seen photos where its leaning over the side of the pot like a hanging plant.

I'm going to let mine lay down now. I didn't understand the growth, but I just saw a beautiful one draped over the side of it's pot 💚 Thanks for helping with the ID Katy @gjones
