This one escaped the snow by hiding under a heavy laden conifer.

Thank goodness for good news 🙂

It was a bright spot in my day Elise 😊 @Auricula

I think these might be just about ready #seedhead #ligularia But I'm not sure if these will grow plants true to mother because I believe it's a hybrid. Worth a try maybe? Any opinions?

Got to be worth a try surely 🤔🤔

Always worth a try you may get something even more beautiful

Thank you Jane 💚 I think so too @pelly

How true! We'll see 💚 @carolgs

#ligulara-dentata Perfect time for this color in the garden #perennialla #gold #yellow #golden-yellow #goldenrod #augustblooms

Gorgeous 💛 so sunny ☀️

That's a good description of these! @kez001uk

Laura, do you think you could collect seed from this plant? If you can I'd love to try it here😊

I will give it my all Katy @gjones

@columbiariver Thankyou Laura😊

Gorgeous!÷

Thank you Linda 💚 @GardenGirl48

(small one is leopards bane, doronicum caucasicum)

Hi Katy 💚 I sent you some seeds on Tuesday, but these are not ready yet. They will be coming later 💚 @gjones

I look forward to seeing what goodies you've sent! Thanks so much Laura😚😚

Just a few of what I could gather. The rainy summer kind of delayed things. I don't need any seeds in return Katy 💚 I have managed to keep busy with what I have and I still have so many 💚 @gjones

#desdemona #perennialla

I have these. I love them.

This one seems to be happy with only morning sun and damp ground. Are yours in a wet area? @laketitlow

@columbiariver I have two in a shady spot by the house. I give them extra water. I have some by the rain gardens. They are fine with standing water during the summer. Standing water during the winter killed off most of my rocket ligularia. Live and learn I guess. I had 12 plants and now I have 5 left. I moved the other ones in a very wet area that does not get standing water. They like it there. The rocket can take full sun without wilting.

That's good to know. I'm not familiar with the rocket yet. But I love having plants with a variety of needs because I have every kind of situation except standing water. Actually we do have standing water in the rainy seasons, but it's our old driveway area and I can't plant it. I have been thinking of getting it filled in with soil. I wonder how that would work @laketitlow

Anytime you make a new garden sounds good to me. More places to put more plants because I just can not stop buying or trading plants.

#leopardplant 5.8.19

Yours looks a lot healthier than mine laura. I think ive had our entire slug population attacking it 😡 is this like yours jeremy @jpea

Yes I think it is so it could produce flowers and yes mine was turning into slug fodder until I moved it. It's now reached about 45 x 45cm so really come on. I'll check when it flowers now @davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co

Those bad slugs! They got the first tender leaf (far right), but they haven't been very aggressive since. This flowers in July here. Mine is doing much better since I moved it to this spot. It gets about 4 hours of morning sun and it's close to a watering hose. I picked up another variety last year and just planted it in a shade garden. Its foliage is smaller but the same gorgeous colors. I'm not sure I've posted it yet. @davewrightjoinerygooglemail.co @jpea

This one gets too much traffic, slugs and dust here. I've been taking bad foliage off since spring. Perfect spot waiting for it after the heat wave. 7.30.18 #leopardplant #needsshade #dampshade #desdemona #gategarden

I still need to clean up around the soaker tub, but #leopardplant #desdamona has arrived and is looking very healthy. Hurray! Color for the tub area!

You have so many interesting plants!

I got this one because it was so odd looking Leslie. I love the weird. Lol! @lesliecole49

@yourturn, your plant looks like this to me. This was a couple of weeks ago and it's grown a lot more. Scroll over to see first pic with flowers.

It's back! Such an odd and very cool plant. #desdemona #leopardplant #yellowflower #soaktub

Won't this get more leopard looking!? Very cool!💘😍

😮 just ordered seeds for this too! At this rate, I'm going to end up with a scale version of your place over in Ireland! 😂😂

Wonderful to think we have duplicate gardens my garden sista! @Mikekally

I'm not sure Shelley. If you swipe you can see the foliage is pretty solid green. I wonder if it matures into leopardness (new word)? I'm positive on the ID, straight off the tag @ShelleySnyder

Ok I'll take a look, but I did think there was one that was called that because of its leopardness🤔 💘😍

This one is a trial. Likes sun and damp. Put it by the soaker tub but not sure it will be happy with only 4 hours sun.
