Growing. Doesn't seem to need water in the shade and it's growing great. #hydrangea #mostly-shade #oakleafhydrangea

Adore those leaves 💚💚💚

Love it!

I can't keep up with all the wonderful things happening on here. So much beauty. This is #oakleafhydrangea doing well since taking it out of it's container home. Planted in garden area I haven't decided on a name for yet. Shady, shrub garden. Someday it will be gorgeous up there. 6.22.18

Looks like it'll be a beauty for sure!

Big bloom! Oooooooweeeeee!!💘😍

Ooo love these 😍

I think they are very strong plants Katy. Hoping it grows big. @gjones

It's got a whopping flower going on there. Maybe one more coming. This thing is so brittle I keep breaking pieces and putting them in dirt. I should bring you one @ShelleySnyder

Thank you luv. They are great looking Carol. Especially in autumn. @carolgs

A baby oak leaf hydrangea. #propagation was easy with #cutting. Put it in soil in fall and forgot about it. Has been outside all winter.

As, cute little baby

Thank you Leslie. I'm a proud mom. @lesliecole49

Everything living appreciated the wonderful rain showers in Oregon yesterday. No real changes in where the fire is yet, but things sounding more hopeful each day. http://www.oregonlive.com/wildfires/index.ssf/2017/09/live_updates_firefighters_gain.html

Happy to hear about the rain ☔

@columbiariver you got rain yesterday!!? Wow we did not!! Going to the fair tomorrow and it will probably rain then!😠🤣😜

👌👌👌

Yes, it even rained in central Oregon @ShelleySnyder .

And we're getting cool air off of the ocean now. *73 f today. Supposed to warm back up tho. So strange for sept, oh well. @cyndi

Fantastic news about the rain Laura, looks like all our hoping and praying is starting to pay off little by little, hope there will be more 😚🤗🤗

As hateful as it sounds, a fire is very good for the eco system, (I think is the right word). And you've probly heard that before. We drove through the Superior national forest in the upper peninsula of Michigan after a big fire. The fire had raced through the tops of the trees never touching the lower trucks.

Have you been doing your rain dance? Stay safe girlfriend

Not hateful at all Leslie. Fire does do a lot of good for the forests. When the rain started to fall I went out and danced and prayed thank you prayers. I might have whooped it up a little. I could hear neighbors celebrating with me! Now we need the east wind not to start back up. Thanks for thinking of us. @lesliecole49

Thank you so much Jane. Im resting assured the wonderful fire fighters will push this away from us. @daisy-jane

#oakleafhydrangea #hydrangea Starting to think of the next season and rearranging what's in which pots for the cold season. Love playing in the dirt!

That's neat!

I'd never seen this one. Couldn't leave it behind. Our best nursery is starting to clear out a lot of inventory. @rachellescott @cyndi

Yes, Laura, I definitely wouldn't be able to leave it behind either!😊 @columbiariver

That's the strangest hydrangea I think I've ever seen! Very unusual but very interesting 👍

Did you see any of these at the flower show Jeff? I think its just odd enough to be fun. Going to keep it in a pot for next spring, which I've never done with a hydrangea. @jeatacake

No Laura. Your photo is the one & only oak leafed hydrangea I have seen. I like it as it's so strange & quirky. I would have snapped it up for sure! 👌

Love these 💚 luckily you have enough space for it 👍🏼
