I didn't see one bad bug and I examined this well. The plant pulled off of it's spot with a crunch. Nothing! No bugs, not even any roots to speak of. I washed the 7 plantlets and need oiled them. Planted in soil with root growing nutrients. I hope to have 7 healthy plants. My favorite heuchera by leaps and bounds.
I thought for sure there was going to b ants or something! I hate when that happens but it would of drove u crazy. I bet it took a good while too. Those darn things better become beauties after all that TLC😥🤔🤗😊💕
If Shelly has nothing...I have know idea except mine said they like to b on a mound. Mine are also some type of Alumroot but they do look cool on a mound. If they have fiberous roots maybe ur right. I’m sure you’ll figure it out. I know some of mine with fiberous roots need to be divided just not looking forward to doing it 😄😂🤗😊💕
I bet if you give it a tug, it will come away as I think you have been attacked by #vineweevil 😊 you can save it. Dig it up and pot up each piece and it will reroot. Check around where the root should be an make sure you remove an grubs still there. Only consolation is you'll make more plants 😊
Looks like vine weevil grubs have eaten the roots and killed the plant Laura . If you dig it up you may be able to save some plantlets, make sure you rinse them really well before planting them up . You will also have to treat the ground with vine weevil killer @columbiariver hope you manage to save some 👍 also make sure you squash any of the white grubs that you find 👍
Hi Shelley. Its sunny here. Looks and feels like it may have frosted last night. Slept too late to see. I got a few last daylilys in the mail. Better get them in the ground today. We better enjoy the sun break! 💝😚 @ShelleySnyder
