Looks like it's surviving 👍 I had one of these but I think it bit the dust last winter 😕

As did mine! I'm surprised to see this one, but we're having a steamy winter. @jeatacake

Warm and rainy. With the exception of the extreme cold last year, our winters seem to be warmer. In spring it all feels tropical and steamy, making things grow beautifully @jeatacake

It's hard to imagine after all that snow. Wish there was a bit of steaminess here 😁

#bronzefennel #superstar #aphiddetourant #aphid-help Some nice person on Gtags shared that they had good results keeping aphids away when you plant these near the plants that aphids like. I planted 4 this spring. One on each side of the house. Got them at Freddy's. Easy to find. I haven't had one aphid on roses, honeysuckle or anywhere! I highly recommend these. No chemicals! Yae!

Oh, it was you Sam! Thank you ever so much for the great tip. I've never seen anything as effective. I don't see one aphid anywhere. Do they actually detour the aphids? Not sure how it works but oh so happy it does. @icedance

Didn't mean to blow my own trumpet Laura .. so pleased you've found it effective...It attracts hover flies - parasitoid wasps and lacewings which all enjoy eating and destroying Aphids 🙂🙂

Blow away Sam. It's been incredibly effective. I have not seen an increase in the aphid eater critters, but maybe I just haven't noticed. I will always have bronze fennel now dear lady. Gracias Sam @icedance

Your so welcome Laura .. now you have it you will never be without it ... it has a habit of popping up here and there but I don't mind , it makes the plants around look really good with it's soft bronze foliage , and soft yellow flowers 🌼

I remember it does have a spread habit. Hadn't thought about not having to buy it again. Bonus @icedance

I tried to put mine where it would be out of the way and it's ok so far. When it pops up next year I'm sure I'll be cursing it @linfoster
