We planted 2 filipendula this year. Started them from roots so not as big as yours yet. I love how they bloom and the variety we purchased is a zone 2 so it should survive just fine😊
That's really good to know Katy. It will be great to have yours to compare them to each other. Does yours have this type of foliage or the more fern like? @gjones
Mine is only a few inches tall right now but it looks more fern like. Hard to tell what the foliage will look like but should know soon. I only planted the roots about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
So yours is probably the vulgaris which is gorgeous 😍 @gjones
