#clematisappleblossom This is a very fast growing #clematis 💗 with slightly #pink flowers. It will need a trim this year. Pics from below and from #outthekitchenwindow #kitchenwindow #perennialla 4.7.2020

She's a beauty💗 but a big plant and fast grower. I can't reach up there to trim. Going to put this on the old barn. #clematis #appleblossom 4.11.2019

It's going to be a bear to move without ripping it up. I do have about 4 feet between the ground and the trellis so that should be a good start for her Cyndi. Always re-arranging plants! 😅😍 @cyndi

4w

columbiariver

Yes, just in the first months of summer it put on all the growth. Stopped completely in the heat. Then it blooms in Feb. Its going to be massive in a few years if it keeps this up @ShelleySnyder That's why it's difficult to get pics of the blooms. They're really high!

ShelleySnyder

Oh Wow! My arbor is about 10 ft. High and my new plants are about 6ft. Tall, so I guess it's not gonna take long to cover it!💘😍

The tag that came with mine said to trim it right after it blooms, cuz it blooms on new wood💘😍

Making buds! I thought the heat and smoke had really hurt this one last summer/fall as growth stopped suddenly. But maybe that's just what she does. Can't wait for this first bloom! Maybe before the crocus come up! #clematisarmandii #clematisappleblossom

Sue, I've been looking for an evergreen just for this spot. It's pretty bare in here during the off season. Hoping it won't have any trouble reaching the trellis above. @susanhumphrey333

Should do the job Laura 👍 Maybe encourage it around the cane to point it in the right direction. I just planted my Princess Diana clematis in a pot today using a cane to help it reach the trellis 😊
