Wow, that's one colorful bush. I think there's a variety that grows rampant down here.

Two completely different colors of foliage. Top left is a pic that gets late afternoon sun. Top right gets morning sun. Pic of shrub is morning sun side, other side is green. Aren't plants awesome? She will get a haircut before winter. 💈✂ Not the most favorite job in town.

The Japanese Barberry is banned in New York state invasive and choke out the native plants see him in the yard but none in the nurseries I'm not sure if that's the only one I got to look that up.

We've never had a baby plant in all the years we've had it. Might be our sub zero winters? Idk? @janelleabella
