Yes, they took their time coming up, I thought I'd lost another plant!. I had a friend here who wintered hers in the ground. I will try th ed too maybe. Mulched heavily. Laura and @ShelleySnyder

I'll see how long their season is here. If it's very short I may not want them. I wouldn't care if they were in the ground. Or if I had a greenhouse. @ShelleySnyder @lesliecole49

The two I got this year say they are zone 7 (We'll see!) I have one that I kept in the garage every winter cuz it was given to us and I took a chance last fall and left it out and it came back big time! My Hawaiian coral came back (it's planted next the the one given us) and it's way smaller! But they grow at a pretty fast pace so I think it's gonna get much bigger, the ones that came back are planted up against the house so I think that helped keep them warmer! Have I rambled on enough!?😂💘😍

But effectively Shelley. 🤣 Laura,I understand they won't come up till their ground is warm. I've got 4 shoots on one corm. I'll get another picture today. As far as required growing season length, I've no idea. If you don't get too deep of frosts you might be able to wrap the container real well, or mulch heavily. @ShelleySnyder
