Mmmmmh lots of lovely peas… think I’ve planted them a bit close to the sprouts through! Who needs Pilates when you garden, with all the stretching and twisting involved in picking peas!
Morning hun . I’m with you there 😂😂💚
Morning Carole. Looking good ....do love fresh peas 👋😍💚
I could just sit and eat all those myself Carole love them 🤗
Morning @juliesgarden 👋 and @flof1952 and @godfreye I can confirm they were very fresh when my granddaughter and I tucked in! 😆
My second and third pods of #peas the first lot didn't make it indoors 😋 #gyo
@rachelbrooks These haven t got a grin like yours 😂😂
No they're angelic peas Jayne! 😇😂 @jaynehynesburton
They look tasty Carole 👍🏼💚 so you get loads of pods all at once? And can you keep the peas once you've picked the pods? 🤔
They do look fab Carol
Perfect Peas 😁
No they are very sporadic @rachelbrooks but I only planted a few of these ones as they were a saved pod that was left on a plant to dry out... might have been #notmygarden 🤔
Thank you lovelies @jacq1075 and @jaynehynesburton 😊
Oh! 🙊 naughty! 😬😂 do they keep in the fridge or should I just freeze them? I'm thinking if I only get a few at a time I'll want to save them up till we get a decent portion out of them!
Yes I drop them straight in a freezer bag fresh from the pod with no blanching and they are for special occasions only 😂😂😂 in a risotto or with a piece of salmon #precious 😂 @rachelbrooks
👍🏼😆 thanks Carole. I think I will probably do the same 😬
The only peas that have germinated are the ones I "acquired" from a National Trust visit last autumn! And they are nearly 5 ft tall and in flower! #edible
