They’re the forced ones I bought a few years ago. Think I’ll dig them out the trough when they leaves have gone yellow and put them in the ground and leave them. If nothing happens I’ve not lost much after this showing and I’ll have space in my trough for my new plants 👍🏼 @ublaszko
Sounds like a good plan 👍 They won't flower reliably each year so you might as well move them to make space for a good performer. If you have grit, put some in the planting hole when you move your tulips so you minimise the risk of them rotting away.
It depends if you're willing to keep these bulbs for 2-3 years before they flower again. If not, then just chuck them in the bin after they finished flowering. Otheriwise, you can move them in autumn but do not plant them again before the first frost (November time).
#tuliptuesday They’ve not opened much more from the other day. (In fact I've just looked at the other photo and they've closed back up!) Wet and windy this afternoon here! Where’s this heatwave?!?! #tulip #pinocchio
