They require warmth and humidity to grow. They won't set fruit below a night-time temperature of 18 deg. C (65 deg.F) and after pollination fruit take 30-80 days to mature. epino plants do not set fruit until the night temperatures are over 65 F. (18 C.). The fruit matures 30-80 days after pollination.

Sow seed in greenhouse in Spring for planting out under glass in early Summer. Sow seeds on edge in good seed compost, individually in pots.
