Original:Grasslike foliage produces tall stems with clusters of flower buds. Flowers are an antique rose colour with plum/cranberry colored throats and green/yellow eyes. Flowers range from 3 to 5" across. Reblooms throughout summer season. Grows in zones 4-10. New:Clump-forming perennial plant with spikes of flowers each of which lasts no more than 24 hours (hence the common name). The flowers consist of 3 petals & sepals, with a midrib of the same, or a contrasting colour. Colours are most commonly reds, oranges, yellows or pinks. 'Awesome Blossom' is a re-blooming day lily with antique rose coloured, frilled edged blooms with a plum eye and lime green throat.
