Geraniums are easily grown and can transform problem places such as dry shade, hot sunny banks or moist shade.Geranium phaeum has small, nodding flowers with yellow centres in late spring to early summer, held above green, deeply lobed leaves, with distinctive purple blotches around the centre. It will quickly spread to form a hummock.
