Flowering

From Mid Summer TO Late Summer

Umbels of white or pink flowers appear in Summer, and are followed by the seeds

Planting

From Mid Spring TO Late Spring

Plant into a sunny site with well-draining fertile soil after all risk of frost has passed.

Propagating by seed

From Early Spring TO Late Spring

Start seeds inside 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost, or outdoors when the soil temperature has warmed and the risk of frost has passed. Sow groups of 3 or 4 seeds at a depth of ¼ inch and spaced at 8" apart. When seedlings are 2 inches tall, thin to 1 plant every 8". Germinate should be in 7 to 14 days.
