A small upright shrub with glossy green leaves of varying sizes depending on the variety. Chillies tend to be long, narrow, tapering fruit. The single flowers are an off-white (sometimes purplish) color while the stem is densely branched and up to 24ins tall. 'Chocolate Reaper' is a 'super hot' chilli - 1,00,383 - 2,200,00 SHUs. It has a slightly floral aroma. and smoky taste, and is brown, wrinkled and irregular in shape.
